Then, after the traffic school course has been completed within the timeframe given by the court, the driver must submit the original traffic school certificate of completion to the court by the due date assigned by the court. In most California courts the certificate of completion may be filed in person or by mail or in certain courts electronically. If the driver does not complete traffic school a conviction for the violation will be placed on the DMV driving record.
